Privacy Policy

Eylo ("Eylo", "we", "us") is a camera-first social app for iPhone. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to work, we don't run ads, and we never sell your data.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — email address, username, display name and optional profile photo, provided when you sign up.
- Content you create — photos captured inside the app (including the dual-camera selfie inset), captions, stories, comments, direct messages and reactions.
- Social activity — who you follow, follow requests, blocks, and glances (views) on moments.
- Technical data — device model, iOS version, app version, push notification token, and crash/diagnostic logs used to keep the app stable.
2. What we deliberately don't do
- We do not access your photo library. The camera is used only at the moment you capture, and Eylo photos are taken inside the app.
- We do not show ads or use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
3. How we use your information
We use your data to operate Eylo: showing your moments to the people you choose, delivering messages and push notifications, keeping the community safe (moderation, spam and abuse prevention), fixing crashes, and answering your support requests.
4. Where your data lives
Content and account data are stored on Supabase-managed infrastructure and are encrypted in transit. Stories are automatically deleted 24 hours after posting unless you pin them. Posts and messages stay until you delete them.
5. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that run the app (hosting and database infrastructure, Apple's push notification service), and with authorities when the law genuinely requires it. That's the whole list.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account (Profile → Settings → Delete account) permanently removes your profile, moments, stories and messages. You can also email us and we'll handle it for you. If you are in Türkiye, you have rights under KVKK; if you are in the EU, under GDPR — including access, rectification, erasure and objection. 7. Children
Eylo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child is using Eylo, contact us and we will remove the account.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Meaningful changes will be announced in the app.
